Jacob remembers the excitement of taking a picture for the first time, as a child on a hike with his father’s camera. He’s worn out more than a few shutter buttons since then, but the feeling hasn’t faded. Many people are nervous about having their picture taken, but Jacob is great at putting people at ease. “I really love meeting people. I try to get to know my subjects a bit and bring their personality forward.”

Interests: Jacob enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s going mountain biking, hiking or running, but lately he’s become a fan of “hipper scampering,” heading out to wander, enjoy the moment and be present with nature.
